The incessant rain has capsized the boat of two fishermen, flooded houses of many, leading to an indefinite powercut. Many other people are injured or missing as rescue operations are underway by the National Disaster Relief Force (NDRF) and military team. There are around 35,000 people who have been evacuated and placed in 200 relief camps.
